Thailand Smart City Handbook is Urban Studies Lab’s work which was commissioned by UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) as complementary research to the Prosperity Fund’s Global Future Cities Programme (GFCP).
This handbook is a part of the UK's Smart City Initiatives in Thailand to address challenges we are facing from population growth to climate change, as well as, the opportunity for new innovation and services towards a more resilient urban development.
It covers Thailand smart cities landscape includes Thailand smart city’s overview, an insight of Bangkok smart city development categorised following the Thailand Smart City domain. Thailand Smart city handbook also covers other pilot cities in Thailand as well as Eastern Economic Corridor with mega infrastructure development across 3 cities i.e., Chachoengsao, Chonburi, and Rayong.
